- About Us
Rubberway rubber trails are pervious, quick drying, non-slip, and fit seamlessly into their surroundings. The flexibility and 'give' of the rubber makes these rubber pathways perfect for walking and jogging without the impact of harder surfaces like concrete and asphalt. Plus, these paths are made with recycled rubber, giving tires a second life and diverting them from landfills.
Our rubber trails have been installed on corporate campuses to give employees an environmentally friendly, ergonomic surface to stroll and jog on during their free time - promoting employee health and wellness. Rubber walkways and pathways can also enhance the walkability of cities and urban areas and can give new life to old parks. They are safe, comfortable, and resilient and can help promote healthy communities by encouraging people to be active outside.
Rubberway's rubber path and trail systems provide a safe and attractive option that will beautify our parks, recreation centers, schools, and public facilities with visionary designs and recycled materials. These porous rubber paths allow pedestrians to proceed safely, yet are also suitable for strollers, wheelchairs, skateboards, bicycles, and roller-blades.
A variety of rubber trail systems are outlined below and are available in a variety of colors. They can be customized to varying levels of thickness, porosity, and resilience for the ideal outdoor rubber trail.
Rubberway Pervious Pavement is perfect for trails, paths, walkways, and more. This system is constructed of a large recycled crumb rubber granule which creates a very porous surface allowing for rapid rainwater dispersion and quick drying. This single layer system is economical, easy to install, and made from 100% recycled rubber. The resulting pathway will provide years of comfortable, resilient, attractive and safe usage.
Rubberway Pervious Pavement trails are available in a variety of colors including black, dark brown, brick red, tan, green, and gray.
Rubberway Softwalk is a rubber trail system specifically designed to offer pedestrians and joggers a low-impact, good traction, firm but resilient surface. The shock absorbing base layer is fabricated with rubber from recycled tires and is topped with a wear layer of EPDM, a pure virgin rubber compound that is colored throughout and available in a variety of colors. The EPDM wear layer ensures UV resistance and long term color fastness over time.
The Rubberway Softwalk system utilizes a rubber granule smaller in size than our pervious pavement system, making this a great choice where smaller voids, a smoother surface, and additional color fastness are desired.
For a nature walk or a natural looking pathway to compliment the surrounding environment, bound rubber mulch paths are a wonderful option. This single layer system is porous, easy to install, and made from 100% recycled rubber.
Our premium rubber shred is available in a variety of colors including dark brown, light brown, green, tan, brick red, and blue. Color blends of two colors or more are available as well with examples below.
