Tire Incentive Program Projects Completed 2020 - 2023

USSA Sources post-consumer recycled tire rubber from recyclers across the U.S. to utilize in porous rubber pavements, rubber trails, tree wells, walkways, medians, and rubber playgrounds. This reduces the need for raw materials and diverts tires from landfills.

The following projects were completed between Dec 2020 and March 2023. These projects all utilized rubber from California recycled tires and were funded by a grant from CalRecycle. In total, these projects and some test / demo site materials were sold which diverted 26,108 tires from landfills.
